Sigmafly (Σ-Fly) is the moniker of Manchester based producer Tom Holmes. The 24th of January saw the release of his free EP ‘Oddities’. Blending sounds of lush, ambient soundscapes and subtle, melodic dubstep (NOT JUST SKRILLEX), ∑-Fly composes a perfect sound reminiscent of Koreless and Éssay. The producer’s first release was on Éssay’s netlabel Warminal, which was released in May 2011.
 This debut release already set a high standard with standout tracks like ‘Tides’ and ‘Eclipsing’ making a real impact of emotion on the listener. ∑-Fly followed this release up with the EP ‘Tetrachrome’ on Scottish producer DFRNT‘s netlabel ‘Cut‘. The EP raised the bar with the incredible track Tetrachrome, whose lush chords and distant echoey voices create a track to drift off to.

∑-Fly’s most recent release ‘Oddities’ adds to the already aesthetically pleasing discography upheld by this producer. Every track on this EP adds its own character to the full release, with intricate chords, chimes, and percussion coming together to provide bliss.
