CRAZY P

2 February 2012 No Comment

Many of you will have heard of the Nottingham quintet Crazy P but a lot of people may not fully appreciate how good their music is. Incorporating deep house, downtempo, soul, disco and funk their music has that real live instrument feel to it. Catchy guitar and vocals over a trademark disco beat is what to expect, especially on a track like Heartbreaker. This track is featured on their 2011 album release ‘When We On’. The track is definitely my favourite on the album, but the whole release is full of original tracks, each with their own character, and is the perfect follow up to their critically-acclaimed 2008 album ‘Stop, Space, Return’.

We also have a remix by Hot Toddy which was too good to not share with all of you! The remix takes on the original’s downtempo beat, adding a much more house-infused beat, with lush chords and a playful guitar over the top.
